Welcome, SOMS Families!

A new school year is here, and we couldn't be more excited to dive in together. Whether you've been with us for years or you're just now joining the SOMS community, we want you to feel it from day one: you belong here.

As your HSA Co-Presidents, we're here to build a school community that's not just academically strong, but genuinely connected, welcoming, and fun. The Home & School Association (HSA) works to keep the community connected so that families, teachers, and staff get the best experiences possible.

We Need You

The HSA runs entirely on volunteer power, and that's where the magic happens. It's also where we could use more hands. Events, fundraising, classroom support, board roles, none of it happens without people like you stepping up. You don't need a big time commitment or special experience, just a willingness to jump in. Got 20 minutes? There's something for you. Got a few hours a month? Even better. Every bit of help moves our kids' experience forward.

Our Focus This Year

Transparency, collaboration, and giving more families real ways to plug in. We're working to increase both student and parent engagement, introduce fresh ideas and new activities, and build new opportunities to get involved and celebrate everything that makes the SOMS community special.

Get Involved

Explore our website for upcoming events, open volunteer spots, and current board openings. There are several roles still available, and we'd love for you to consider one. HSA meetings are open to everyone, and we meet the third Tuesday of every month. Come see what we're working on and where you might fit in.
